    Pakistan’s Biggest Health Sector Event Health Asia to be held from Oct 17-19

    The 21st edition of Health Asia will take place from October 17 to 19 at the Expo Center in Karachi. Provincial Minister for Health Dr Azra Pehchoo will be the chief guest at the event.

    The event will also host various seminars on different issues of healthcare and medical practices such as chronic diseases, safe blood transfusion, cardiac surgery and perfusion, medical tourism, pharmaceutical marketing, medical devices, etc. An exclusive hall has been dedicated to professionals of dental health (Dentech Asia) at the flagship event.

    Project Director Health Asia Farhan Anis said this event is the national platform for policymakers, health experts, and stakeholders of healthcare professionals to gather to raise the standards of healthcare services to patients, address the critical and emerging issues of healthcare and medical practices, and propose an industry roadmap for saving people’s lives. Every year, stakeholders from the healthcare and wellness sector join heads to deliberate on different industry issues with specialized sessions organized by experts and practitioners under the banner of Health Asia.

    This year, Health Asia will launch the concept of “Inward Medical Tourism” which will be discussed in Future Hospital Conference. This concept will bring foreign revenue in Pakistan and ultimately more and more investment by the private sector towards providing high quality healthcare facilities in our hospitals.

    The event has more than 20 Conferences and Seminars being held alongside the 3-day Exhibition which has foreign as well local medical experts as speakers to exchange the latest medical procedures information.

    More than 500 exhibitors, including foreign delegates from different countries, are participating in Health Asia. Over 50,000 visitors are expected to visit the three-day event.
