DWP Technologies, a leading provider of digital infrastructure solutions, is proud to participate in the Pakistan Digital Leap: Transforming Higher Education and event by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in collaboration with the World Bank and the Higher Education Development Program (HEDP). The prestigious ceremony was attended by HEC Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmed and key industry leaders instrumental in building Pakistan’s digital backbone.

DWP Technologies has successfully designed, built, and deployed a state-of-the-art Tier-III Certified Astrolabe Data Centre for the Higher Education Commission (HEC), marking a significant step toward strengthening Pakistan’s digital and academic infrastructure. The project was executed by DWP Technologies in two strategic phases, leveraging cutting-edge containerized solutions to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability for the growing digital demands of higher education in the country. Designed for a capacity of 4 megawatts, the facility stands as an advanced hub, enabling seamless data processing and storage for Pakistan’s higher education sector.

The tech booth of DWP at the event was the major center of attraction, featuring an immersive VR experience that showcased the company’s advanced data center solutions and digital capabilities.

Data centres are the backbone of any digitally progressive nation, and Pakistan is now moving in the right direction,” said Rohail Bashir, Chief Operating Officer at DWP Technologies. “At DWP Technologies, we are proud to contribute to this transformation by designing and delivering high-performance, scalable infrastructure that supports our country’s academic, governmental, and enterprise needs. This is just the beginning of a more connected and resilient digital ecosystem.”

DWP Technologies transformed a raw piece of land into a fully operational, high-performance data center, demonstrating its expertise in executing large-scale infrastructure projects. The comprehensive scope included complete civil works such as land levelling, foundation development, and infrastructure deployment. The project also involved the supply and installation of Huawei DC PODs, ensuring advanced data center infrastructure.
