    Johar Jawans and Gulshan Gabroos Triumph in KTPL Matches

    Johar Jawans and Gulshan Gabroos secured dominant victories on the 12th day of the Karachi T20 Premier League (KTPL) at Moin Khan Academy.

     

    In the first match, Johar Jawans posted a total of 97/10 in their first innings and 99/1 in their second innings, defeating Clifton Popular by 10 wickets. Clifton Popular had set scores of 96/3 in their first innings and 95/4 in their second.

     

    Johar Jawans’ standout performances came from Nasir Khan with 59, Umair Butt with 53, and Waqas Sher with 32 scored, while Clifton Popular’s Fahad Mian Channu contributed 59 and Hassan Qadeer added 20 scored. Johar Jawans’ Asif Pathan claimed a single wicket, while Clifton Popular’s Farman, Khurram Radaba, and Raja Khawar each took 2 wickets.

     

    In the second match, Gulshan Gabroos posted 131/3 in their first innings and 89/4 in their second to secure a comfortable win over DHA Dabangs, who scored 91/6 in the first innings and 64/5 in the second innings.

     

    Bahadur Ali was the top scorer for Gulshan Gabroos with 52, supported by Habib Akbar with 32 and Ahsan Chitta with 24 scored. DHA Dabangs’ Taimur Mirza was the highest scorer with 51, while M Mustafa Hanif contributed 30.

     

    For Gulshan Gabroos, Malik Faisal and Rana Mohsin each took 2 wickets, while DHA Dabangs’ Zabiullah impressed with 3 wickets, and Jallat Khan and Abdul Salam took 2 wickets each.
