Chairman KTPL Zohair Naseer announced on the occasion that the league would be played at national level in the next edition with the teams representing different cities of the country.
“I was sure that tape ball cricket would be structured through this league and it has happened now. This league has brought street cricketers to stadiums, which was our primary goal,” said Zohair.
He added that the KTPL was first organised and structured at Karachi level and now it would be played at national and then international level in the coming years.
